Description: This print is from the set "Ukiyo-e Beauties Overseas" (在外浮世絵美人画逸品集) which consists of 12 reprints of bijin-ga (beautiful women paintings) from Boston and Chicago museums collection.

This is from a series "風流七ツ目繪合" (An Elegant Series of Amulet Paintings), created based on the popular belief at that time that good luck would come if you have a painting of the combination of your own zodiac sign and the zodiac sign that comes seventh after it.

A woman in a yukata (Japanese cotton kimono) is elegantly depicted holding a fan with a rabbit picture on it, along with a rooster in the upper left corner, the seventh zodiac sign after the rabbit.

There is a very small chip at the upper left margin of this print. Also, there is a trace of removal of glue on the backside.
