[The full set is included in our Mokuhankan Collection here.] The print set was created by the Yuyudo Company in the late 1970s. Okada's designs originally appeared in the Shukan Asahi weekly magazine, to accompany a modern adaptation of the Genji story by the noted writer Tanabe Seiko. Far and away most of the Genji print sets that we receive are tainted with foxing of the washi paper, but this print is clean.
