Description: We have a single print from the well-known set of four designs that the late Okada Yoshio created for the Genji Monogatari. [The full set is included in our Mokuhankan Collection here.]

The print set was created by the Yuyudo Company in the late 1970s. Okada's designs originally appeared in the Shukan Asahi weekly magazine, to accompany a modern adaptation of the Genji story by the noted writer Tanabe Seiko.
