Description: A full set of match label prints depicting scenes from the old novel Tokaido Hizakurige. The two main characters - Yaji and Kita - are shown fumbling and carousing their way down the old road ... The prints were "produced" by Oda (小田), who sponsored numerous match label series in the Showa period.

Please visit our Collection page where you can see our own preserved copy of this entire set at high-resolution.

This is a loose set of prints, and we set the prints in a stamp album so to enjoy and to preserve the prints.

The displayed dimension is the size of each print.

Since these prints are very old, they are toned with some soiling, and some of the edges are a little worn. Also, on the backside of some of the prints, there are traces of the removal from the previous album.
