Description: This print is from a series "Ukiyo-e Fukei Hanga Shutaisei" (Collection of Ukiyo-e Landscape Prints), a postwar reproduction of 24 prints by 20 different artists selected by Adachi company as the best examples of landscape prints from the late Edo period.

A boat with its sails heavily wobbled drifts among the rolling waves, and Mt. Tenpo rises in the background. On the right side, a bridge and a house that looks like a ryotei (Japanese-style restaurant) can be seen, as it is a scenic spot. The contrast between the exaggerated intensity of the waves and the brightness of the sky as it clears with the setting sun is an attractive feature of this work.
