Description: This print is from a series "Ukiyo-e Fukei Hanga Shutaisei" (Collection of Ukiyo-e Landscape Prints), a postwar reproduction of 24 prints by 20 different artists selected by Adachi company as the best examples of landscape prints from the late Edo period.

You can almost hear the bustle of the beach, with the many fishermen at work, and the flocks of sea birds chasing the fish. The pleasant space of distant sails along the waterline, interesting shape of clouds and geometrically patterned mountains is an expression peculiar to Hokuju.
