Description: This print is from a series "Ukiyo-e Fukei Hanga Shutaisei" (Collection of Ukiyo-e Landscape Prints), a postwar reproduction of 24 prints by 20 different artists selected by Adachi company as the best examples of landscape prints from the late Edo period.

The snowy landscape along the Sumida River and people on the boats are depicted with strong outlines in a somewhat Western style. Bokashi (gradation technique) is used effectively to progressively lighten from the darker colors of the snowy sky downwards.
