Description: This print is from a series "Ukiyo-e Fukei Hanga Shutaisei" (Collection of Ukiyo-e Landscape Prints), a postwar reproduction of 24 prints by 20 different artists selected by Adachi company as the best examples of landscape prints from the late Edo period.

As the title of the set that this print belongs "Komo Abura-e Meisho Zukushi" (Collection of Celebrated Places in Dutch Oil-painting Style) tells, this is a remarkable print that attempts the style of an oil painting using woodblock print technique. The perspective depiction along with the signature pattern of the frame-like edges shows us a new world of Ukiyo-e.

There is a small chiri (mulberry bark scraps) at the top left of this print.
