Description: This print is from a set 'Selected Masterpieces of Ukiyo-e Prints', published by Adachi in 1971.

This bust portrait of the actor Nakamura Noshiro II as Kuzunoha from the play 'Ashiya Doman Ouchi Kagami' performed in 1795, is considered Kunimasa's masterpiece of yakusha-e (actor paintings) who was a pupil of the first Toyokuni. It shows Kunimasa's distinctive style of clear, straightforward lines.

There are tape marks on the back of this print but it's in good condition overall.
