Description: This print is from a set 'Selected Masterpieces of Ukiyo-e Prints', published by Adachi in 1971.

Shotei Hokuju was a pupil of Hokusai and made many prints of landscapes with meticulous Western-style depictions. In this landscape of Ryogoku, the expansive sky with fleecy white clouds contrasts against the realistic depiction of the bridge, structures, and people to form a magnificent composition.
