Description: This print is from a set 'Selected Masterpieces of Ukiyo-e Prints', published by Adachi in 1971. Although the original was unsigned, it is accepted to be the work of Torii Kiyonaga. The large size of the painting is filled with the dancing figure of Takenaka Shotayu, drawn in a neat yet powerful style.

Note: Adachi folded the print once to fit it into their packaging, and the crease is still visible. We will fold it at the same point for shipping.

The top right corner of this print is slightly creased, where it was previously tacked to a backing sheet.
