Description: This tryptic by Kunisasa is from the series 'Shiki-gokoro Onna Asobi' (Pleasures of Women at the Height of the Four Seasons). It's a depiction of people along the Sumida River out enjoying cool evening breezes in the hot summer. The vivid colors of the clothing stand out against the subdued background.
