Description: This print is from the set 'Kacho Fugetsu (Beauties of Nature)' which consists of 20 Hiroshige design prints in ōtanzaku format published by Yuyudo in the 1970s, produced by the best engravers and printers at that time.

The moving legs of two ducks in the water are printed using 'musen-zuri' (a printing technique without outlines) to add variety to this print. The two 'oshi-dori (mandarin ducks), a male and a female look like a couple. In fact, the Japanese name 'oshi' is thought to be derived from the word for 'female and male love each other'.

This print has slight foxing spots on the light color background from lower left to top and a mark on the right margin.
