Description: Toyokuni is famous for yakusha-e okubi-e (large-head actors), but this print is one of few of his bijin-ga okubi-e (large-head beauties). It's fantastically designed in terms of color, particularly in the contrast of red and black kimono.

Of special interest is the transparency effect on the comb ...

This particular print is a post-war reproduction by Yamada Shoin.

This print was carved by legendary Mr. Susumu Ito, who deeply influenced Dave. The YouTube video video featuring Ito-san became one of the most viewed on his channel ...

There are a few small creases at the top right corner of this print.
