Description: This is a partial set (5 of 8) of Omi Hakkei designs by Hiroshige, in a Taisho Era reproduction version. Publishers of the day were exploring many options in their desire to publish prints cheaply and in large quantities, and this group was made with mixed technologies - the blocks were carved by hand in the usual manner, but many of the colour impressions were printed in a sort of press, with the coloring being applied by hand, then pressure being applied by the press mechanism. The paper too, is inferior to the usual washi used for printmaking.

The dimension displayed is that of each print.

Overall, the prints are in excellent condition for their age (around 100 years); there are small creases, some torn corners, and a few light stains here and there.
