Description: This is a Taisho-era reproduction of a book originally published in 1786, titled 'Ehon Takaranoito: Kaiko Yashinahisou (picture book of treasure threads: silkworm cultivation)'. It's a Japanese-bound book with 12 woodblock prints designed by Katsugawa Harusho and Kitao Shigemasa, depicting the process of silkworm breeding and silk production. Nice design on the cover using cocoon as a pattern, beautifully made woodblock prints inside.

This book has stains/spots mostly on the front cover, back cover, and pastedowns but the inner pages are in good condition.
