Description: This is from the "Famous Places in the Eastern Capital" (Tôto meisho) series by Hiroshige. The original print was made in the 1830s, although this particular print is a post-war reproduction. The word in the original title, "Haku-u" (white rain), means a sudden shower in the sunshine. This print depicts the exquisite beauty of a rain scene with people hurriedly passing on the Nihonbashi bridge, with Mt.Fuji far in the background.

This particular edition was produced by Takamizawa Company in the 1970s.

There is a small fraying at the top margin and small marks at the bottom margin of this print.
