Description: This is from a series, a total of 100 large nishiki-e prints, all of which were based on moon-related scenes from Japanese and Chinese stories, poems, and songs, took eight years to complete. It is regarded as one of Yoshitoshi's masterpieces.

This print illustrates a scene in which Nakaguni went to Sagano and played his flute, hoping that Kodo, who had escaped from the court, would respond with her koto. It depicts beautifully the mid-autumn night in Soga moor.
