Description: This set is a reprint of 20 Kitagawa Utamaro's Bijin-ga (beautiful women) published by Yuyudo ca. 1970s. Both the engraving and printing are of high quality, and the result is very impressive. A couple of the prints were carved by legendary Mr. Susumu Ito, featured in Dave's YouTube video. Images are from several of Utamaro's most famous series: 青楼十二時 (12 Hours in the Green Houses), 高名美人六家撰 (Famous Six Beauties), 教訓親の目鑑 (A Parent's Moralising Spectacles), and so on.

Each print is unglued, matted, and packed in a pink folder; the 20 folders are contained in a cloth-bound case and further packaged in a cardboard case. It also comes with a descriptive pamphlet written in Japanese.

The dimensions listed above are for each print. The outer box size is 52 x 37.5cm.
