Description: This print is from a collection of woodblock prints of beautiful women from the Meiji period by a number of leading designers of the day, including Tsukioka Yoshitoshi, Ogata Gekko, and Kaburagi Kiyokata. The collection "Meiji no Onna" (Women of Meiji) was published in 1977 by Soudosha, and most of the designs were being reproduced for the first time.

This is from the series 'Azuma Fuzoku Nenju Gyoji' (Customs and Manners of Yearly Events at Eastern Capital). In May, at the iris garden in full bloom, a woman seems to enjoy walking.

There are slight creases at the upper part of this print.
