Description: One of Hiroshige's most iconic kacho-e (nature images), this tanzaku depicts an almost catlike little owl taking a nap on a branch. The crescent moon is cleverly concealed under part of the silhouetted branch, and deep blue bokashi gradation is used at the top of the print.

There are slight marks on the right margin.
