Item from the Mokuhankan Flea MarketWoman After a Bath (Yuyudo)Size: 46.5cm by 30.5cm (18.31 in by 12.01 in) | Enlargement | Shipping Code: [XL] ? Designer: Hashiguchi Goyo Era: Late Showa | Currency: $ / £ / € Price: Description: A wonderfully made and carefully preserved version of Goyo's famous design. This is the Yuyudo version produced in the mid-Showa period (most of them in the 1980s). (The Tanseisha Company also made a version of this same design). It depicts a beautiful woman cooling off after a bath using his favorite model, Tomi. The mica background is clean and smooth, and the fine hair is also very carefully printed. The print is of course marred by the distortion in the paper caused by careless gluing to the original backing sheet (which is why the price is lower than usual for this design). We have taken a photo under top light, in order to show this at its 'worst' ... slight spots on the left margin Distortion in the paper ... This is to show the size of the print and the beautiful mica on the background. The distortion isn't quite as bad as it appears under the top lighting ...
