Description: This print is also known as 'View of Takanawa in Moonlight' (Takanawa tsuki no kei), and is from the 'Famous Places in the Eastern Capital' (Tôto meisho) series. The original print was published in the 1840s, although this particular print is a post-war reproduction by the Yuyudo Company.

The moon peeps out from behind the masts of fishing ships, brought out through bokashi gradation. While travelers don't stop to take in the view, three women in the lower right-hand corner pause to enjoy the sight.
