The title is also known as "Traveling at Night in the Hakone Mountains on the Border of Izu and Sagami Provinces" (Zuso Hakone-yama yako no zu). It was probably originally published in the 1830-40s. Great attention to detail is evident in this reproduction, and the use of bokashi gradation in the mountains, sky, and torches is a highlight. There are a few slight creases on this print.
