Description: This design is from Hiroshige's series "Famous Views of the Sixty-odd Provinces" (六十余州名所図会 Rokujūyoshū Meisho Zue), one of his last major productions. This version was created by the O-Edo Mokuhan-sha in the immediate post-war period.

This particular edition was produced by the O-Edo Mokuhan-sha in the 1950-60s period.

The paper is well toned by now, and there is some light wrinking along the right-hand edge.

The information in the cartouche tells us that this one was carved by Kametaro Harada, whose bench Dave is using these days, having received it from Harada-san's son a few years ago.
