Description: This is a fun little set of assorted woodblock-printed match labels dating from (probably) the 1930s. The right label was designed by Takarada Nao (宝田直). Other designs by Takarada are available for viewing on the Collection page. The left label is interestingly designed like an American stamp. “ODA” is the sponsor's name 小田 (Oda). Notes: there are some stains and marks on the labels, as shown in the image. The dimensions are approximate.
