Description: A beautiful woodblock-printed postcard probably published for foreign tourists in the 1950s, featuring a sightseeing spot in Kyoto. This print shows Yasaka Tower (八坂之塔), the five-storied pagoda of Houkanji Temple (法観寺). The pagoda, which remains a landmark of the city to this day, is nestled among the trees, and towers over a nearby building.
