Description: This is one of the eight known remaining pieces from the series Fujin Sōgaku Jittai ("Ten Physiognomies of Women"). Utamaro is thought to have designed these pieces around 1801-1803, This print shows a young woman with ohaguro blackened teeth, combing her hair.

This particular print is a mid-1970s reproduction by the Takamizawa Company.
