Description: Some notes from the pamphlet included by the original publisher:

"This print is from the Edo Jiman (江戸自慢, "Pride of Edo") series by Kunisada. The inset is the Gohyaku Rakan Temple (五百羅漢寺) in downtown Tokyo, where Segaki (施餓鬼) Buddhist rituals were held daily during July every year. July is one of the hottest months of the year in Japan, and the inset accentuates the "summery" feeling insinuated in the illustration below of a mother breastfeeding her baby under a mosquito net."

There are some marks on this print.
