Description: The pamphlet prepared by the publisher Adachi explains a bit of the background to this design: "The inset is Sensoji Temple. There were throngs of people visiting the temple on the 7th, 9th and 10th of each month, because it was said that one who pays homage on any of these days can receive from the deity enshrined benefits worthy of having visited the temple 46,000 times. "A child tries hard to free himself from his loosening belt (obi) catching his feet. The moment the accompanying woman tries to free her hand from the clinging child, she wobbles a little. There is subtle eroticism in her gesture."
