Description: "The girls's head is half turned to the left, and she looks down pensively. In her right hand she holds a long slender tobacco pipe in her lips." -Sadao Kikuchi

This design by Utamaro is of courtesan Tagasode of Daimonjiya house. The craftsmen have taken care working on this print, the hair is meticulously sculpted and the colour is consistent. The 'karazuri' (empty printing) on the collar is a nice detail.
