Description: This print is also known as "Low Tide at Shibaura" (Shibaura shio-hi), and is from the "Famous Places in the Eastern Capital" (Tôto meisho) series by Hiroshige. The original print was made in the 1830s, although this particular print is a post-war reproduction.

A richly coloured seascape is depicted, with boats in the foreground and Shiba Bay visible in the background.

Bokashi gradation has been used in several places, giving depth and perspective to the print.
