Description: This print is from the "Eight Views of Kanazawa" (Kanazawa hakkei) series by Hiroshige. The original print was made in the 1830s, although this particular print is a post-war reproduction.

A group of people gathers shells at the tidal mudflats in Hirakata Bay in front of Nojima mountain. In the background, a large flock of geese descend from the sky...

Bokashi gradation has been used in several places, giving depth and perspective to the print.
