Description: This print is from the "Eight Views of Kanazawa" (Kanazawa hakkei) series by Hiroshige. The original print was made in the 1830s, although this particular print is a post-war reproduction.

Shomyoji Temple buildings are pictured in the middle of the mountain. A woman on a small boat, hearing the evening bell from the temple, stops to offer a prayer. Bokashi gradation has been used in several places, giving depth and perspective to the print.
