Description: This print is also known as "Listening to Crickets at Dôkan Hill" (Dôkan-yama mushi-kiki no zu), and is from the "Famous Places in the Eastern Capital" (Tôto meisho) series by Hiroshige. The original print was made in the late 1830s to early 1840s, although this particular print is a post-war reproduction.

Two women, fanning themselves in the heat, and a child, carrying a cricket-cage, make their way up the steep hill in the moonlight. On the slope, three men sit on picnic mat drinking sake and taking in the view.
