Description: This print is also known as "Cherry-tree Well at Benkei Moat outside Sakurada" (Soto Sakurada Benkeibori sakura no i), and is from the "Famous Places in the Eastern Capital" (Tôto meisho)" series by Hiroshige. It was probably originally published in the 1840s, although this particular print is a reproduction from the mid-Showa period.

In the print, locals brave the trip to the well despite the thick snow that has fallen. Bokashi gradation has been used in several places, giving a feeling of depth to the print.
