Description: This print is a reproduction of an ukiyo-e painting by an unknown artist. The character (a dancer?) seems to hold a fan in their right hand. The patterned layers of clothing are a highlight of the print, gold-pigment designs suggesting the expense of the costume. The image has been carved and printed extremely delicately, as can be seen in the hairline of the character.
