Description: This print by Hokusai shows men fishing by torchlight in Kai Province, and is from the series "One Thousand Pictures of the Ocean", also known as "Oceans of Wisdom" (Chie no umi). This is a reprint by the Takamizawa Company. While the title may suggest a great volume of prints, only ten are known in the series. A stunning print, from a lesser-known series by Hokusai.
