Description: This print is one from the "Mitate Gekijo Shichi Yushi" ("Seven Outstanding Actors in Theatre Parodied") series by Kunichika. This particular print depicts kabuki actor Onoe Kikugoro in the role of Terashima no Matsu.

The carp-and-wave design on Kikugoro's costume is a highlight of the print, as is the delicate bokashi gradation used on the umbrella, title panel, and in the whites of the actor's eyes. Kikugoro's hairline has also been very finely carved and delicately printed.

There is very minor soiling to the print, and the margins have been slightly trimmed. There are also a few small wormholes, which have been repaired.
