Description: This print by Toyokuni depicts famous kabuki actor Bando Hikosaburo striking a pose in an unidentified role.

Karazuri blind-embossing has been used on the eri collar of the actor, and beautiful bokashi gradation has been used around the actor's eyes to represent his makeup.

The margins of the print have been trimmed, and a few small holes to the left margin have been repaired. There is also a little soiling, wear, and one or two minor creases to the print.
