Designer: Toyokuni III Era: Edo | Currency: $ / £ / € Price: ![]() Description: This is one print from the "Mitate Sanjurokkusen" ("Parody of Thirty-six Selected Poems") series by Utagawa Kunisada I (Toyokuni III) (1786–1864). In the print, a beautiful woman writes a letter by lantern-light while a man waits outside in the dark. There is a little karazuri blind-embossing to a section of the man's costume, and the beautiful woman's hairline has been delicately carved. Very minor wormholes to the print have been repaired, and the print is a little browned due to age.
