Description: One print from Kunichika's Gishi Meimei Den ("Biographies of Loyal Followers of Chushingura") series, showing kabuki actor Ichikawa Sadanji as Fuwa Kazuemon. The mica powder used in the pigments for the dark sky give a lovely shimmering effect.

The margins of the print have been trimmed a little, and there is some bleeding to the red ink at the top.
