Description: A print from Ogata Gekko's "Pictures of Flowers of Japan" series. The illustration shows a Noh performer at Dojoji Temple, Wakayama Prefecture, standing under a green bell and in front of a pine tree. It is possible that the tree is not a "real" tree, but part of the background traditionally painted on a Noh stage. The bright colours of the performer's costume stand out from the print, drawing attention to the flowers which link back to the title of the series.

There is discolouration to the bottom edge of the print, and the margins have been trimmed a little.
