Description: This is one print from Hiroshige's Eight Views of the Environs of Edo series, and shows wild geese descending over Benten Shrine in Haneda. The poem at the upper right of the print reads, "Over the marsh at Haneda, wild geese are descending like a ladder from the sky". The subject of descending geese is surprisingly appropriate for Haneda, as the town is now home to one of Japan's largest airports.
