Description: This is from '53 Stations of the Tokaido' ... not the famous one by Hiroshige, but a different set, designed by his apprentice (taking his name after the 1st Hiroshige passed away).

This series is in vertical format, and is much more simplistic that the more well-known designs.

This copy is from the end of Edo / start of Meiji, and dates from the 1860s.

The are a couple of wormholes here and there, but overall it is in excellent condition for its age.
