Description: Most of the images in Hiroshige's 'Flower and Bird' (kacho-ga) series depict songbirds, but there are a few examples of larger birds, with this famous crane being perhaps the most dramatic example.

This print was carved by Koike Shigeru, and printed by Uesugi Keiichiro.
