Description: This is one image from a set of 20 which feature women paired with famous places around Edo. The famous place in this one is the bridge at Ryogoku, viewed during the summer fireworks festival.

As for the woman, she is identified on the print as a geisha, and she is depicted adjusting her makeup in a hand mirror, which is nestled in folds of white paper.
