Description: Sukenobu lived in the era just before colour woodblock printing began to flourish, and most of his work was done in the form of black line book illustration.

Some enterprising early 20th century publisher took some of those designs, and 'colourised' them with woodblock printing.

This version is beautifully done, but unfortunately has some foxing spots in two areas ...
