Ito Susumu Video Passes 100,000 Views!

We reached an astonishing milestone a few days ago (astonishing for me, anyway). A video that I uploaded last summer - the long ramble chatting about old printer Ito Susumu - has passed the 100,000 views mark, and this seems nothing short of incredible to me. It's totally not exciting at all; I just sit there for 28 minutes and tell a story, and yet people have passed around the link, posted it here and there, and over time it has gathered that many views.

Now to be honest, the analytics I have access to from YouTube show that not all of those 100,000 people watched to the end. But there is an _extremely_ interesting pattern. There is an initial drop-off of about 1/2 of the viewers in the first few seconds, as people who have clicked this in the sidebar of another video decide to leave because it doesn't look interesting to them, but the people who then stay, stay right to the end.

So let's call it 50,000 to be accurate. 50,000 people have sat there and listed to my 1/2 hour long story - That makes me pretty happy; thanks to everybody for the interest in this!
