Print by Jocelyn Gallon

Posted by Dave Bull on March 24, 2017 [Permalink]

I got a surprise package in the post the other day - a print from Jocelyn Gallon, a young man in France who has been working on his first woodblock prints. He and I have had occasional email exchanges about technical points, and it's been fun to watch his progression. He's working right from scratch - sizing his own paper (with a brush he made himself) and carving on blocks he has prepared himself.

The resulting print is great fun!

He's got more photos of his process over on his website.
